Who are we??
Women Are Smarter. A five-piece, indie rock band based in Nashville, TN. Blending the raw energy of 2000s garage rock with the introspective grit of ‘90s alt, our sound draws influence from The Strokes, Radiohead, Weezer, and Car Seat Headrest. With driving rhythms, melodic guitar lines, and emotionally honest lyrics, we make music that’s equal parts fun and heartfelt.

If You Stay is a driving, emotionally-charged indie rock song that wrestles with the tension between self-doubt and the hope for connection. It opens with a restless groove i think early Strokes meets Kings of Leon - with tight drums, melodic bass, and vulnerable guitar lines. The vocals cut through with urgency and fragility, like someone unsure they deserve love but desperate not to lose it.
